'Houston's Largest Home Tour' Returns Bigger Than Ever to the Bay Area

(Houston, TX – April 4, 2016)      Johnson Development is opening doors citywide to inspiring home tours and exciting public events this month for “Houston’s Largest Home Tour,” which includes two developments in the Bay Area.

Hundreds of homes — including more than 120 models — will be open daily in April in master-planned communities throughout Houston. Homes will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays and admission is free. In addition to touring model homes filled with the latest design trends, event-goers also can enjoy a bevy of free events throughout Houston, including concerts, a dog carnival, art festival and more.

“This Home Tour not only highlights the many luxuriously-appointed model homes we have throughout Houston, but celebrates the lifestyle of Johnson Development communities,” said Doug Goff, chief operating officer for Johnson Development Corp. “The public will have a chance to experience the types of resident-only events our lifestyle directors plan regularly as well as tour the latest design trends and see firsthand why so many of our developments are among the nation’s best-selling.”

The 870-acre Tuscan Lakes development will have models and available homes open for touring during Houston’s Largest Home Tour. On Thursday, April 14, the public is invited to the Operation Finally Home Dedication that will hand over the keys of a mortgage-free home in Tuscan Lakes to United States Marine Cpl. Jonathan Dowdell and his family. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Watershed Church, 1751 E. League City Parkway, and the dedication ceremony will begin at 2 p.m.
