Double the Districts Equals Double the Success

Double the Districts Equals Double the Success

Double the school districts means double the academic success for Tuscan Lakes students if Niche.com’s 2018 rankings for the best public schools in Texas are anything to go by.

We are served by both the Clear Creek and the Dickinson independent school districts, and both have schools to brag about.

Clear Creek High School scored in the top 100 for Best College Prep Public Schools. The Wildcats nabbed the No. 89 spot based on high graduation rates, AP enrollment, SAT/ACT scores, state test scores, and the quality of colleges that students consider. The school also made the list of Best Public High Schools, ranking No. 135 out of 1,523 schools.

The success of Clear Creek High students rests on the foundation they received at League City Intermediate School, which ranked in the top 100 for Best Middle Schools. Out of 1,986 middle schools, League City ranked No. 67 based on state test scores, student-teacher ratio, student diversity, teacher quality, middle school ratings, and the overall quality of the school district.

The quality of the school district is one more thing to be proud of. Clear Creek ISD is one of the top 25 Best School Districts in Texas, coming in at No. 24 out of 986 districts. The ranking was based on state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, public school district ratings, and more.

Diversity is the key to success for Dickinson ISD schools. The district was in the top 25 on the list of Most Diverse School District, coming in at No. 23.

When it comes to Niche’s list of Standout High Schools, Dickinson High School was among the top 100. The list recognizes public schools that are making a difference in their community based on school diversity, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, quality of colleges that students consider and state test scores for economically disadvantaged and minority students.

Barber Middle School ranked No. 129 out of 494 on the list of Standout Middle Schools. McAdams Junior High School grabbed the No. 69 spot on the list of Most Diverse Public Middle Schools.

Congratulations to the teachers, students and staff of all our fantastic schools
